Neurodiversity Consulting

Neurodiversity Consulting with Mihalovic Consulting grew out of years of sitting at school tables and employer meetings, advocating for my autistic son and realizing how much difference a few informed changes can make. Today, I bring that same parent-advocate perspective and my background in servant leadership into structured consulting for organizations that want to support neurodivergent employees thoughtfully.

I guide you through workplace accommodation planning that is practical for your context, focusing on communication, sensory needs, scheduling, and role design so staff can do their best work without burning out. I also design staff training programs that move beyond awareness to everyday behaviors: how to run meetings, give feedback, and create psychologically safe teams. For organizations ready for ongoing partnership, I offer continued support to review policies, troubleshoot real cases, and keep your efforts from stalling after the first training.

Sessions can be virtual or on-site, with any travel expenses discussed directly between you and me, so you always know what to expect.

Educational Workshops

Educational Workshops with Mihalovic Consulting are the sessions I wish I had when my son was first diagnosed on the autism spectrum. As "Meme," a parent and trained educator, I translate years of advocacy, research, and lived experience into clear, real-world guidance for schools, families, and community groups.

In the Autism Spectrum Understanding Workshop, participants learn what autism can look like beyond stereotypes, why certain behaviors appear, and how small classroom or program shifts can dramatically change a child's day. I share concrete strategies for sensory supports, communication, and collaboration with families that educators can start using immediately.

Parent and Caregiver Support Sessions offer a different kind of space: honest, judgment-free conversations where caregivers can exhale, ask hard questions, and gather practical tools for navigating IEPs, meltdowns, and transitions to adulthood. Workshops are available virtually or in person, with any travel costs discussed together ahead of time, so your group can focus on learning and connection rather than logistics.

Speaking Engaments

Speaking Engagements with Mihalovic Consulting grow out of my life as "Meme," a mom who fought for her autistic son's education and community employment and then trained as a Certified Professional Speaker to bring those lessons to bigger rooms. As a conference speaker, I blend lived stories with research and servant leadership principles so audiences don't just feel inspired; they walk away knowing what to do differently on Monday.

For business audiences, I focus on small, realistic changes that make workplaces more neurodivergent-friendly: how you interview, how you communicate, how you design meetings and spaces. Educational and community groups hear practical, classroom-tested ideas for supporting students on the autism spectrum while strengthening family partnerships. Every engagement is customized to your event goals, offered virtually or in person, with travel expenses discussed transparently in advance so planning is straightforward.

Whether you need a keynote, breakout session, or facilitated conversation, I design each talk to open hearts, clear up myths about autism and neurodivergence, and spark lasting, inclusive action.
